Reasons I choose to pursue a degree in Industrial Engineering:
- I love finding solutions to problems
- I like working with people toward a common goal - in teams with other Industrial Engineers and with professionals from different fields.
- I like being able to work in several different fields including manufacturing, government, healthcare, and the nuclear industry.
- I love making things better - weather it be products or processes or businesses.

What I learned while being in school at SUVA and in the Interior Design Field:
- Working with a deadline
- Meeting the needs of clients while staying true to the integrity of the project or building codes
- The ability to deliver professional presentations
- The ability to quickly change designs to meet clients' needs
- The ability to work in teams towad a common goal
- The ability to go to a construction site and find problems are inaccuracies between the plans and the work that was done, and figure out how to rectify the problem
- Starting the Institute for Interior Designers of America, student chapter and being president for two and a half years, I learned about dedication and commitment, how to correspond with professionals in a professional manner, how to delegate tasks, how to publiciaze the organization to gain more memebers, and how to persuade companies to give products and monetery support
